5 ans déjà!
Nous serons aux côtés de Madame Antonia IVALDI, La Présidente de l'Association des Femmes Chefs d'Entreprises de Monaco et de tous leurs membres pour fêter le 5ème anniversaire de leur association.
Au cours de cette soirée, ces Femmes Chefs d'Entreprises de Monaco nous présenterons leur plan d'entreprenariat féminin et de solidarité numérique entre Monaco et le Sénégal.::
Ce sera aussi l'occasion pour Femmes et Vins du Monde d'apporter sa contribution en offrant un Collector de la 1ère édition du concours international des vins primés 2007 pour la tombola qui aura lieu au cours de la soirée.
Tous les fonds récoltés lors de cette tombola seront entièrement reversés à ce plan d'entreprenariat et de solidarité numérique entre Monaco et le Sénégal.

| MOMENTS D'EMOTIONS ET DE PARTAGE | Vendredi 18 décembre 2009, 23:07
Ce vendredi, j'ai assisté au départ en retraite d'Alain GUITTARD, OEnologue et directeur du Centre OEnologique de Provence du Groupe ICV à Brignoles depuis plus de 20 ans. Je n'étais pas seule bien évidemment, le Président Denis VERDIER et le Directeur Général Olivier MERRIEN, Laurence HUGOU, Directrice du Centre du Groupe ICV Provence qui prendra dès lundi le flambeau, ainsi que des membres du Comité de direction du Groupe ICV avait fait le déplacement, rejoint par un parterre d'élus locaux, de vignerons et de viticulteurs, de confrères de Provence, son équipe d'hier et d'aujourd'hui, ses amis de toujours et ses amis de Provence pour rendre un vif hommage à un "catalan de Provence".
Manquer peut être à l'appel ...quelques sangliers...mais ça c'est une autre histoire ...
Alain GUITTARD, c'est aussi un de nos membres du Comité Consultatif Scientifique et Technique de Femmes et Vins du Monde.
Car j'ai eu la chance de croiser mon chemin avec celui d' Alain GUITTARD en 2000 au cours d'un de mes stages en oenologie, le côté laboratoire n'étant pas le plus glamour pour moi, il a eu à coeur de me faire partager sa passion. Vive l'azote assimilable !
Quand quelques années plus tard, je vins lui parler du projet qui me trottait dans la tête de créer un concours international de vins rosés "Le Mondial du Rosé", il m'encouragea dans ma démarche. Quoi de plus naturel, étant lui-même une cheville ouvrière de la reconnaissance du vin rosé en Provence et un de ces plus farouches défenseurs. Nous connaissons la suite...
Voici 4 ans, que je poussais à nouveau la porte de son bureau, cette fois le projet était toujours un Concours International de vins d'hommes et de femmes mais ...dégustés exclusivement ...par des femmes , montrer cette diversité des métiers de notre filière à travers les femmes expertes internationales .
Comme à l'accoutumée, il prit quelques secondes de réflexion et d'emblée, me dit "Bonne idée et vous allez le faire à quel endroit ?". Pour lui la réalisation était une évidence.
En effet, durant 30 ans d'activités, il a pu observer cette féminisation en marche dans la vigne et le vin, le plus flagrant et le plus visible est peut être dans son propre centre...11 femmes pour 4 hommes...
Quoiqu'il en soit, c'est un parcours professionnel magnifique et exemplaire ouvert à la diversité et aux échanges qu'il nous offre comme exemple!
A ce titre, tous les membres de "Femmes et Vins du Monde" sont heureux de s'associer à moi pour vous nommer Membre Honoraire de "Femmes et Vins du Monde".

| | MAGNIFIQUE SOIREE DE LA SOMMELLERIE MONEGASQUE! | mercredi 16 décembre 2009, 05:37
...pour le XVIIIème Gala Prestige de la Sommellerie Monégasque placée sous le signe du professionnalisme et de la convivialité au Méridien Beach Hôtel à Monaco.
C'est de main de maître que Patrice FRANK, Président des Sommeliers monégasques et chef sommelier de l'Hôtel de Paris à Monacoa rythmé cette soirée, rendant hommage aux vignerons partenaires présents tout en orchestrant une tombola caritative.
C'était aussi l'occasion de souhaiter un bon anniversaire à Bruno SCAVO, Past-Président des Sommeliers monégasques et chef sommelier du Sporting Club de Monaco.
Pour ma part, j'ai été ravie de retrouver mes complices et parrains, Dominique MILARDI , Chef Sommelier et Antonio FOCHI, 1er Maître d'Hôtel du Méridien Beach Plaza.
Ce dîner était aussi une manière pour l'équipe de "Femmes et Vins du Monde" se familiariser avec la Salle Méditerranée du Méridien Beach Plaza dirigé par Michel COTTRAY, Directeur général, et qui accueillera le 23 avril 2010, la Soirée des Nova et le Palmarès de notre Concours International.
Après quelques pas de danse, la soirée s'achevait par les remerciements à toute l'équipe de Monsieur Bernard Cuq, Chef exécutif du Méridien Beach Plaza Monte carlo pour ce délicieux dîner aidée pour l'occasion par les élèves sommeliers du Lycée Technique et Hôtelier de Monte Carlo.

Today, we are pleased to announce a partnership between the ICV Group and Women and Wines of the World International Competition
Copenhagen's climate change summit that opens today can leave nobody indifferent…it concerns the entire planet.
Now 4 years since the creation of the International Competition Women and Wines of the World, Monaco, we are playing our role in minimizing direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions.
We have, therefore, put in place certain modest yet logical actions: waste control, carpooling, recycling, electronic mails, etc.
Each small gesture in the process to sustainable development counts in the end. This year, we have decided to take it one step further. For this reason, in partnership with the ICV Group, we have established the Women and Wines of the World International Competition Carbon Evaluation.
Thanks to this partnership, the ICV Group brings us its skill and expertise on sustainable development and accompanies us in the carrying out of our Carbon Evaluation.
How will this help?
Firstly, it will help us to better identify and evaluate greenhouse gas emissions caused by our event. The Carbon Evaluation will allow us, in this way, to envisage putting in place even better measures in order to minimize and compensate for these emissions.
Furthermore, it will increase awareness of professionals in the world of winegrowing, wine making and gastronomy.
An ecological responsible attitude is everybody's business!

Tout de bon et de beau en ce mardi 10 novembre au Grand Hôtel Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, où Michel DUHAMEL, Président de la délégation "Riviera Côte d'Azur" des Disciples d'Escoffier et les membres de son équipe faisait l'honneur pour leur chapitre d'Automne d'introniser la Présidente fondatrice de Femmes et Vins du Monde.
Pour ce voyage initiatique, Régine LE COZ était accompagnée de ses 2 parrains, Dominique MILARDI, Chef Sommelier et Antonio FOCHI, 1er Maître d'Hôtel, tous deux oeuvrent au Méridien Beach Plaza à Monaco.
Le dîner qui réunissaient, Disciples et Amis Gastronomes, s'est déroulé dans la nouvelle et magnifique salle du Restaurant du Grand Hôtel Saint Jean Cap Ferrat.
Le menu a été élaboré par les Disciples Didier ANIES, MOF , chef des cuisines et orchestré par Bruno GUILLARD, Directeur de restaurant et Christophe PROSPER, Maître d'hôtel.

Lorsque Gisèle MARGUIN, présidente des Sommeliers Alpes-Marseille-Provence m'a proposé de devenir Marraine de la promotion des Jeunes Sommelier 2009/2010 Lycée Hôtelier de Tourisme et d'Alimentation de Marseille, je n'ai pas hésité un seul instant. Car pour moi être marraine n'est pas seulement un titre honorifique, c'est aussi un engagement, transmettre et partager une passion commune: la vigne et le vin. C'est aussi reconnaître et encourager la complémentarité de nos métiers oenologue et sommelier, au sein de la profession pour le meilleur service auprès du grand public oenophile.
La cérémonie s'est donc déroulée à la nouvelle Maison des Vins de Bandol en présence de vignerons de l'appellation, de sa directrice Patricia FERRERO, et de leurs professeurs: Stéphane OPIARD, Yvon GARY Denis ROYEREet de leur chef de travaux Jean-Louis IVALDI, et de leur proviseur, Agnès VAFFIER également la présidente de l'Association française des lycées de l'hôtellerie et de tourisme (Aflyht)
Me voilà donc marraine de 10 jeunes filles et gens et très fière de l'être, Meryl Calabrese, Magalie,Granier Blandine Gazel , Laurianne Rei , RobinVedani , LaurentVigroux , Pierre Chatelain , Vincent Quay , Simon Bayetti, Jean Baptiste Gandino a qui je souhaite tout le meilleur du métier.
Double bonheur pour moi puisque j'ai débuté dans la filière voici 18 ans sur le territoire de Bandol et petit secret, le Mourvèdre est mon cépage chouchou! Je leur dis à très bientôt!

Au fil des années, nous nous sommes rendus compte que les métiers de la vigne et du vin n'étaient pas ou peu connus du grand public notamment des jeunes. Que l'on soit homme ou femme, on "arrive" à 80% par hasard pour travailler dans cette filière vigne & vin...
Donc pour aider à une meilleure connaissance de ces différents et passionnants métiers, notamment pour les jeunes au moment décisif d'une orientation professionnelle; nous avons décidé, il y a maintenant 4 ans, d'associer cette découverte des métiers à un concours international de dégustation de vins du monde entier par un moyen original.....c'est ainsi qu'est né "Femmes et Vins du Monde" à Monaco, exclusivement dégustés par des femmes expertes internationales.
Les vins de producteurs du monde entier se retrouvent sur des tables de dégustation et sont dégustés par différents collèges de femmes œnologues, winemakers, présidentes de jury… celles de la production, vigneronne, technicienne...celles de la diffusion et de la commercialisation, sommelières, cavistes, négociantes, acheteuses, importatrices...celles de la formation et de l'information, enseignantes, photographes, journalistes...et enfin un dernier collège que nous avons appelé, Découverte, qui est celui de femmes amatrices qui se passionnent pour la vigne et le vin ...tout simplement!
Cette mosaïque nous permet ainsi de représenter la diversité des goûts et des saveurs que l'on rencontre de par le monde !
Si la plupart de ces métiers de la vigne et du vin, sont aujourd'hui exercés majoritairement par des hommes, on assiste néanmoins à une " féminisation " de ces métiers depuis quelques années même si les médias en parlent peu…
Vous y découvrirez d'ailleurs bien d'autres métiers que vigneronne, œnologue ou sommelière, les plus connus aujourd'hui. Cette découverte au fil des jours, nous allons la réaliser par une présentation des métiers de la vigne et du vin faite sous la forme originale de portraits de femmes qui les illustreront.

...c'est ainsi que les média qualifient le WOMEN'S FORUM de Deauville qui s'ouvre ce jeudi jusqu'à samedi sur le thème
" Demain!".
Ce forum a pour ambition d'apporter des réponses concrètes aux enjeux économiques, sociétaux et moraux de notre époque.
Des dirigeantes d'entreprise, des responsables politiques et économiques du monde entier ainsi que des intellectuelles et des journalistes se réunissent donc, afin de débattre des problèmes les plus urgents de la planète, y compris dans les domaines de la santé et de l'environnement.

En ce qui nous concerne, pour ce qui est des réponses concrètes, nous préparons actuellement notre 4ème "saison" pour avril 2010 à Monaco où chaque année notre association organise un concours international des vins de producteurs du monde entier et mets aussi en lumière le rôle et les métiers qu'exercent les femmes dans le monde de la vigne et du vin à travers les différents collèges de dégustatrices expertes internationales.
Femmes et Vins du Monde Concours International , Vins du Monde exclusivement dégustés par les Femmes.
A partir d'aujourd'hui, vous pourrez retrouver une illustration de ces métiers, bien souvent méconnu du grand public, dans la rubrique "Métierama Vigne et Vin".

La semaine dernière, le bureau de la Confrérie du Grand Cordon d'Or de la Cuisine Française à Monaco , qui célèbre en 2009 ses 40 années d'existence, s'est réuni dernièrement pour un chapitre exceptionnel au Louis XV-Alain Ducasse à Monte-Carlo.
Le président de la Confrérie, Marcel Athimond et les membres du bureau ont accueilli S.A.S le Prince Albert II pour lui remettre avec fierté, le collier de Président d'Honneur de la confrérie.
Cette association, riche d'actions dans la cité, perpétue les principes fondateurs, afin que perdure l'œuvre entreprise, par leurs aînés, pour l'art culinaire et le rayonnement de la Principauté.

| Une cérémonie INOUBLIABLE ! |  | samedi 11 juillet 2009, 15:17
Le lundi 6 juillet a vu l'intronisation de Régine LE COZ, présidente fondatrice de Femmes et Vins du Monde par Monsieur Marcel ATHIMOND, Président, et son Conseil Magistral de la Confrérie du Grand Cordon d'Or de la Cuisine Française à Monaco.
La cérémonie s'est déroulée à la Salle des Etoiles du Sporting Club d'été à Monaco.
La confrérie fêtait ainsi son 40ème anniversaire. Un magnifique et symbolique gâteau d'anniversaire composé et exécuté par le Chef Alain CAVANNA et sa brigade, clôturé ce Menu de Gala qui a régalé les convives.
Ce fut l'occasion de retrouver Madame Dominique ATHIMOND et Mademoiselle Sylvie PIZANTI, Maître Pâtissier du Yatch Club de Monaconotre marraine 2009 pour le Club Femmes Vins & Spiritueux du Monde,.
La soirée se terminait par l'ouverture du toit et un magnifique feu d'artifice.

It is thus with the Faculty of Pharmacy of Montpellier that I found myself Monday, invited and welcomed by Mr Alain BLAISE, director of the laboratory of enology, to present to the students of 2nd year of enology, a bearing module on the wine competitions!
After a guided visit of the “new laboratory” by Mary Kelly, lecturer in this same laboratory and nevertheless my binomial of the 1st hour, 10 years ago!. A station “of amazement” in front of “New Jaulmes” (only, those of my promotion can understand at this moment what I feel, euh… CH3CHOH, magic formula?! ; -)), a thought of any heart for “ les Cabanis” and a small regret not to more see the beautiful collection of pycnometers on the rack of the bottom!
I move towards the room of tasting where I cross Jerome, with its good mood and its professionalism of always. It is now time to make knowledge with the students.
Their origins, their courses and their motivations as various and are varied as this account the vine growing and the wines, i.e. of the richness. Their aspirations turn to the production… then I am not more afraid, the changing is assured! I am in a hurry to taste your wines!
After midday of happiness to exchange with them! Go the “djeuns”, go go go! You will make the most beautiful job of the world, a job of creations and passions! To transmit without moderation!

By times which run, optimism is not setting and involves even a certain number of risks. Be likely to be marked of ignorance, which is not yet too serious, of unconsciousness, which is it already a little more, of provocation, which is it frankly.
However, which best occasion than the wishes of the new year to wish the best things and to abstract themselves from the present?
Then, that 2009 are one happy new year for the economy, employment, the power purchase, peace in the world, the safety of the people, the medical research, the fight against the large plagues of our time, etc
After all, if all that were to be carried out, there are only the media for which it would be a bad year.
And then, why believe the predictions of the specialists who, one year ago, had not predicted the events of today?

All those which like me, share this conviction, know today that in 2009 it will be necessary to work with the advent of a more spiritual world.
The way of spirituality, even if it induces a lightness or a promptness of the heart it does not lead ineluctably to some organized processions, historically legitimate, as we proposes the catalog of the various recognized religions of it; nor with degrading and inevitably sectarian processions, under the banner of some policies, whose adhesion confers ineluctably on the variation of an doctrinaire approach.
The advent of spirituality must contribute to the rise in the spirit, so that it becomes, not dogmatic and rigid, but “unsteady admirer of thousand various objects”, that is to say: freethinker with the service of a universal morality.
But already the world moves, thanks to the means of communication and with the will of the men, the planet became transparent, except for some spots of obscurantism ethnic or religious, which still resist the winds of knowledge and the shared culture.
Thus the people of the men learn how to know themselves and to respect itself, now it must learn how to live together (which beautiful dream at the level of humanity: to become citizens of a world without border, without war, free and fraternal… Promised land? …)
Plato shows the way to us: “It depends only on us to follow the road which goes up and to avoid that which goes down” Into 2009 we are at the bottom of this road which goes up, and if we agree today to remove us of some bad habits, and our old privileges.
It will be the light heart which we will climb this slope, because our search is good, and they are not while deploring, but it is while going, which we will still continue this year, to remake the world… |

... "Soirée Exclusive signed By BC" that we passed in company of Carine Baudry aromatician, expert taster, manager of school Tea "Le Palais des Thés" in Paris and Sylvain Sandra, Chief at restaurant ITINERAIRES , 5 street of Pontoise,Paris 5°.
This tasting was devoted to the tea and food agreements, for all to acknowledge you, I have a friend who has tried to convert me with the tea for 25 years, without success... another friend from of the South Africa, it, changed tactic, it took by-paths and initiated me with the rooiboss... but it is not tea... even if one gives him the
name of "red tea".
My true meeting with the tea, it is with this evening, I will never have thought before there are as many similarities between the wine tasting and that of tea and yet it is
the case! That it is white, green, black, yellow... the agreements put teas proposed were absolutely fabulous and harmonious each tea emphasizing the dish that it accompanied and vice versa. Surprised too with even this tea version "cappucino".
True adventure and discovered end of the world, the explanations of Carine were light, rich in a cordial and convivial environment, so that one
wants to still say like the children "!". Large a mercy also with Beatrice Cointreau for the organization of this "exclusive".
