* Women and Wines of The World International Competition™. Femmes et Vins du Monde Concours International™ Association - is approved by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and
Industry since 14th of june 2006 and recognized by European Council July 2006.
International Competition open to all wines of the world :
- worked out by women or man
- marketed by women or man
The wines presented are tasted exclusively by international expert women.

to higlight the various trades of the vineyard and the wine through its 5 panels of international expert tasters.

to realize its Carbon Evaluation™ by a certified organization
FIRST INTERNATIONAL WINE CONTEST
having to analyze the behaviors in professional tasting and having set up of "mini-series" of wines in the series of wines to taste in order to optimize tasting.
This technical and scientific initiative is coming from our Technical Manager and enologist,
Jérôme DUFOUR.
In addition, we endeavor to make taste to the maximum 30 wine samples per day by our international tasters, the morning only, for reasons of rigor and credibility, and by respect for producers and their products.
The order of tasting of the wines always respects the instructions and rules of the International organization of the Vine and the Wine(OIV).** |
| PROFESSIONALISM |
* The competition is conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the OIV (the International Vine and Wine Organisation).According Application of the International Vine and Wine Organisation (resolution OIV/concours 332a/2009).
* According the rules of professionnal tasting in the great wine competition.
* This competition is open to wines from all countries and all viticultural regions with a specified geographical denomination.
(Table wines that do not have a specific geographical denomination will not be accepted for the competition).
* The samples will be presented in an anonymous total fashion to the judging panels.
* * The all-female tasting panels consist of women representing a broad cross-section of the international wine industry : winemaking and vine growing, sales, promotion, marketing, education, communication (media) and trained amateur wine experts.
*Each judging panel comprises five female judges, two of whom are French,
* Each wine is tasted for its own inherent quality |
